Assertive to Interrogative

Rule-1: কিছু
কিছু Assertive Sentence কে Interrogative করতে Auxiliary Verb কে Noun এর আগে এনে এর
Negative Form করতে হয়।
i.e.
Example:
Assertive: Smoking
is a bad habit. Interrogative: Isn’t smoking a bad habit?
Assertive: Karim was
an intelligent boy. Interrogative: Isn’t Karim an
intelligent boy?
Exercise: 1. she likes writing on sounds of birds. 2. She likes crowd places. 3. Her brother copies sounds of animals. 4. It was raining. 5. Honesty is the best policy. 6. The students were

Rule-2: কিছু
কিছু Assertive Sentence কে Interrogative করতে Auxiliary Verb কে Noun এর আগে এনে এর
Negative Form থেকে Affirmative করতে হয়।
i.e.
Example:
Assertive: Smoking
is not a good habit. Interrogative: Is smoking a good habit?
Assertive: Karim was
not an intelligent boy. Interrogative: Is Karim an
intelligent boy?

Rule-3: Every/All/Each
যুক্ত Assertive (negative) Sentence কে Interrogative করতে Every/All/Each+subject এর বদলে who
এবং adjective এর negative form অথবা
Auxiliary Verb কে Noun এর আগে এনে এর Negative Form করতে হয়।
i.e.
Assertive: Everyone likes a
child. Interrogative: who does not like/hates a child?
Assertive: All
wants to be happy. Interrogative: who does not want to be happy/ wants to be unhappy?

child received a present. 3. Every child received
a present. 4. Everyone goes jogging. 5. Each of the children received a
present. 6. Each of us told our jobs. 7. Each of the plants

Rule-4: Every/All/Each
যুক্ত Assertive (negative) Sentence কে Interrogative করতে Every/All/Each+subject এর বদলে who
এবং Auxiliary Verb কে Noun এর আগে এনে এর Negative Form থেকে Affirmative form করতে
হয়।
i.e.
Assertive: Everyone does not
like a lair. Interrogative: who likes a lair?
Assertive: All
doesn’t wants to be sick. Interrogative: who wants to be sick?

child didn’t receive a present. 3. Every child didn’t receive

Rule-5: None/Nobody/No
one যুক্ত Assertive (negative) Sentence কে Interrogative করতে None/Nobody/No one
এর বদলে who এবং Auxiliary Verb কে
Noun এর আগে এনে Affirmative form এর থেকে Negative Form করতে হয়।
i.e.
Assertive: Nobody likes a
lair. Interrogative: who likes a lair?
Assertive: None
wants to be sick. Interrogative: who wants to be sick?
Exercise: 1. Nobody was equally nervous. 2. None receives a present. 3. No one receives a present. 4. None go jogging. 5. Nobody received a
present. 6. Nobody tells our jobs. 7. None needs some
water. 8. No one is sleeping in my
bed.9. None has a
silver lining. 10. Nobody here matches the description of the killer. 11. None is different. 12. Nobody was reading a book. 13. Nobody is above being tested by the law, no matter how rich. 14. Nobody is intelligent enough
to solve the quantum theorem. 15. None wants to buy something
different.
Rule-6: Negative
adjective যদি sentence এ objective বা complement হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয় সে ক্ষেত্রে
Interrogative sentence এ Nothing এর পরিবর্তে anything বসে। কিন্তু যদি nothing
Subject আকারে বসে, সেক্ষেত্রে nothing এর পরিবর্তে what বসে।
i.e.
Assertive: There is nothing in the box.
Interrogative: Is there anything
in the Box?
Assertive: Nothing can stop me from doing this. Interrogative: what can stop me from doing this?
